Taraka is a very sweet 6yo Thoroughbred mare. Her sire is a son of Alydar, and her dam is a granddaughter of Seattle Slew from a strong black-type family. Taraka was in training at the track but never raced - she got cast in her stall and had a foot caught between 2 boards. She was never lame on the injury, but it did leave scars on the inside and outside of her pastern. She has been ridden a few times/popped over some small jumps since she came home from the track, and is always good under saddle, has been ridden by my 10 year old daughter.
